Receive-SMS.CC review: we tested coverage, price and code delivery
★★★☆☆ 2.5 / 5更新于 由 SMS ActiveR 团队撰写
一句话结论
Receive-SMS.CC is a free public SMS inbox best used for a British, Finnish, Belgian or Dutch code when the target service is not fussy about VoIP. American coverage is dead, the phone numbers on offer run in obvious consecutive blocks, and the same Finnish and Dutch stock also lives on a sister site. Our rating: 2.5 out of 5, usable as a backup, not a first stop.
Free access with no registration and verification codes shown right in the browser
British, Finnish, Belgian and Dutch lines were receiving live traffic minutes before we looked, so delivery on the European half is real
Inboxes cover popular online services such as Telegram, Facebook, WeChat, VK, PayPal and Alipay
Extra tools beyond the free board: paid rental, a send-text feature and an archive of retired listings
No ads, no pop-ups and no redirects between you and the code
Receive-SMS.CC is itself a free public board of temporary phone numbers. The British, Finnish, Belgian and Dutch lines were receiving SMS within the hour; the two American lines on the same board had gone six months without a message at the time of our check. Need free numbers that actually receive codes? Try free SVN numbers.
Is Receive-SMS.CC really free?
Receive-SMS.CC costs nothing to use because the phone numbers on the front page are shared. The catch is that a shared, publicly visible virtual number is fine for a throwaway sign-up but not for an account you plan to keep, and the same listings also appear on at least one sister site under a different brand, so the audience refreshing that inbox is larger than the listing alone suggests.
The Receive-SMS.CC interface is a plain public board. The front page lists 24 phone numbers grouped by five countries; each row shows the flag, the listing and a counter of messages received. Click a listing and you land on its public inbox, newest verification codes on top.
如何在 Receive-SMS.CC 上接收验证码
Open receive-sms.cc in a browser; no sign-up screen appears.
Pick a country: United Kingdom, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands or United States.
Click a listed phone number to open its public inbox.
On the online service you are registering with, request the code to it.
Refresh the inbox on Receive-SMS.CC and copy the verification code when it lands.
Country choice on Receive-SMS.CC is narrow: United Kingdom, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands and United States. Only the four European tabs are worth opening; the two American lines had gone six months without an SMS at the time of our check, so working coverage is four countries, not five.
如何使用
Access is free and open on Receive-SMS.CC. There is no registration, no card and no paywall between you and the inbox; the SMS inbox for each listing is fully public, so anyone refreshing the page can read the verification codes that arrive. If your online service sends a login link or a one-time password, whoever loads the page next can also see it.
Receive-SMS.CC 在我们测试中的表现
We opened the live Receive-SMS.CC catalogue on 17 August 2026, walked through each country tab, opened every listing and checked how fresh the last message on it was. We compared the listings against a sister site under a different brand, walked through the language selector, and looked for a Trustpilot profile for the domain. We ran no paid activations because Receive-SMS.CC does not sell numbers on the free board, and every inbox is public. We did not use these numbers for an activation of our own, so no delivery rate, success rate or code-arrival time of ours is claimed for Receive-SMS.CC anywhere on this page.

缺点
Only five countries and 24 phone numbers on the front page, despite the marketing line about thousands
Both American lines were stone dead: the newest SMS on them was six months old
Lines run in obvious consecutive blocks (+44 75769xxxxx, +358 45739987xx, +32 4687974xx, +31 970580263xx) that many services flag on sight
Finnish and Dutch blocks are shared wholesale with receive-sms-free.cc, so the same phone number can be tried twice by users hopping between free boards
No API, no mobile app or apk, no company details and no contact beyond the site
Trustpilot has no profile for the domain, so there is no independent score either way
Message counters cap neatly at 999 and 1,000, which reads as a display limit rather than the real total
Language selector lists 19 entries for a board of 24 listings and shows English twice
Receive-SMS.CC 不适合哪些场景
Anyone who needs an American phone number, since the US listings on Receive-SMS.CC are stale
Long-term accounts, since the SMS inbox is public and the line is shared with strangers
Verification on strict online services such as banks, dating apps and delivery apps that block VoIP or shared lines
Bulk or automated work: Receive-SMS.CC has no API and no mobile app
我们测试团队的观察
The front page advertises thousands of temporary phone numbers, and we counted 24 across five countries on Receive-SMS.CC. The British, Finnish, Belgian and Dutch lines had messages 16 to 55 minutes before our visit; both American lines had nothing newer than six months.
— SMS ActiveR test team · Front page catalogue check, 17 Aug 2026
Two numbers on Receive-SMS.CC, one American and one Finnish, are also live on receive-sms-free.cc, and the Finnish and Dutch blocks are shared wholesale. If you bounce between free boards you are often working the same phone number twice.

Receive-SMS.CC verdict: 24 numbers behind a promise of thousands
Receive-SMS.CC verdict: usable for UK and EU only. The British, Finnish, Belgian and Dutch lines were receiving SMS traffic within the hour, and the service itself is calm, with no ads, no pop-ups and no registration between you and the verification codes. With only five countries on the board, both American lines dead, and phone numbers running in obvious consecutive blocks that many online services reject on sight, Receive-SMS.CC lands at 2.5 out of 5 in our review. As a free service it does what a free service should, but the narrow country list means you cannot lean on this service for anything beyond casual UK or EU signups where a shared number is acceptable. Treat it as a backup service rather than a primary service, and pair it with a paid service the moment a site flags the number as recycled.
Receive-SMS.CC 是什么?
Receive-SMS.CC is a free public board of temporary phone numbers for one-off SMS verification on online services like Telegram, Facebook, WeChat and VK. There is no sign-up and no card: you open the site, pick a country, click a listed phone number and read the inbox that anyone on the internet can also read. It fits casual sign-ups where the online service does not mind a shared virtual number, and it is not built for accounts you plan to keep.
